Projects assist in technology and workforce development.

The Jordan Valley Innovation Center (JVIC) Advanced Manufacturing Node at Missouri State University recently announced an investment of almost $4 million in four cutting-edge projects. These projects are a key part of the strategic initiative to leverage the Missouri NextFlex Node at JVIC and support private sector innovation in the semiconductor industry.
“These projects represent another step forward in strengthening and expanding Missouri’s manufacturing capabilities and advancing the semiconductor industry,” said Allen Kunkel, associate vice president for economic development and director of JVIC.
“By supporting these innovative ventures, we are supporting an ecosystem for growth in the semiconductor industry and creating new opportunities for the state.”
The awarded projects span a range of innovative technologies and workforce development investments:
- Brewer Science – $1,000,000
- CeraNova Corporation – $999,705
- GVD Corporation – $1,000,000
- SRC Electrical – $1,000,000
These investments will drive research and development, foster collaboration with industry partners, and create high-skilled jobs in Missouri. JVIC is committed to supporting the growth of the semiconductor industry and positioning Missouri as a leader in advanced manufacturing.
Prior JVIC Node awards have led to technology advancements, expanded manufacturing capabilities and job creation, leveraged federal Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) funding, and facilitated company locations to Missouri.
